Students Voting Eligibility: For local municipal elections, students are entitled to vote in multiple municipalities if their permanent home and temporary student home are in different municipalities or Territory Without Municipal Organization areas. Students can update or add their “home address” to the Register as their permanent family home and list their temporary student home as an additional property they, or their spouse, own or rent.

55 DAYS UNTIL ELECTION

SEPTEMBER 1 - TUESDAY

First day to request to vote by mail.
First day to check, update or add your information on the voters’ list online by using MyVote, emailing VoterRegistration@toronto.ca or calling 311.
First day to request a proxy voting form. You can request a proxy form by emailing Toronto Elections at VoterRegistration@toronto.ca or calling 311.

36 DAYS UNTIL ELECTION

SEPTEMBER 20 - SUNDAY

Deadline to add your information to the voter's list to be mailed a voter information card - 11:59pm.

32 DAYS UNTIL ELECTION

SEPTEMBER 24 - THURSDAY

Deadline to request to vote by mail - 4:30 p.m.

28 days UNTIL ELECTION

SEPTEMBER 28 - MONDAY

Voter information cards start being mailed out to eligible voters.
All eligible voters can access their digital voter information card online by using MyVote if they are on the voters’ list.

20 days UNTIL ELECTION

OCTOBER 6 - TUESDAY

Advance voting opens at select advance voting locations.

16 DAYS UNTIL ELECTION

OCTOBER 10 - SATURDAY

Kids Vote Weekend starts at all advance voting places.

15 days UNTIL ELECTION

OCTOBER 11 - SUNDAY

Last day for advance voting.
Last day to make updates to your information on the voter's list using MyVote for your name to appear on the final election day voters’ list.
Last day to add your information on the voter's list if you want to access your digital voter information card online through MyVote.
Last day of Kids Vote Weekend.
