Ward 10 - Spadina-Fort York
Andi was born and raised in Toronto to a working-class family and now calls Spadina-Fort York home. As a former public servant and lawyer, Andi has always prioritised service through action and as your neighbour they know first-hand the pressures you are facing.
From economic challenges that make everyday life more costly to public transit that is being held back from working at its full potential, Andi knows that by working as a community, Ward 10 and Toronto can be a home that works for you. The pressures Ward 10 faces are no small challenge but big problems deserve brave actions and Andi is prepared to use every tool at their disposal to make life in Spadina-Fort York affordable so that you can thrive.
In their spare time, you can find Andi running, brushing up on legal theory, making saves as a goalkeeper, or cheering on AFC Toronto. Andi and their spouse, a non-profit theatre worker, are proud to call Ward 10 their home and they are looking forward to growing their family right here in Spadina-Fort York.

However, though Ward 10 is a perfect example of what makes the city great, Spadina-Fort York faces real challenges. From being subjected to undemocratic political decisions to residents being crushed by the cost-of-living crisis to a real lack of community investment, enough is enough - the residents of Ward 10 deserve more.
Like many of you, I have seen Toronto become a city that continues to fail its residents time and time again. Though we all want a city that works, we can’t achieve this if the same ineffective solutions are repeated over and over again. It's time for something new.
I’m running to be your City Councillor because you deserve a city that not only works for you, but is inspired and led by you. I believe that municipal governance needs to be rooted in the community and informed by people's everyday needs. I believe that the solutions to our problems can come from us because we know what works. I know that our collective civic engagement is powerful enough to transform this city - and it starts with Spadina-Fort York.
I have grown up in this city and want to bring back the opportunities I grew up with that supported me on my journey here. I want to build a Toronto where people of all ages see a bright future for themselves. And as a former public servant and lawyer, I have the skills and the experience to lead change with your help.
